Overview of Website Content as of May 2026

Since my last update in May of 2025 there has been a bit of change, but overall things have been quite relaxed and controlled. . My new hip, I recovered from my 13 days in hospital with pneumonia and the steroids cure - although I’m still working on losing the last of the weight gain the steroids caused. I have found that I am quite happy with having sold my boat.

There was no new activity in the Letters to Valerie section, but i remain happy that we established the site after she passed

The music section (BrianeOwen.com) saw additions of four new original songs with some covers of classics, and an album of Gospel Songs dedicated to my sister Jane. I have five more original songs ready to go for publication; and three more in process. Hopefully i will have at least five or six more by this time next year.

I have discovered the value of AI as an assistant in my songwriting. Gwen Holt my previous collaborator in writing music for my songs is focusing on performance of her music library . I had to find s new way to create appropriate music for my lyrics, so i turned to AI. I am impressed by the ability of AI to generate appropriate music when given the proper instruction.

There was no boating activity – the boat is gone.

Healthy living remains a goal. I continue to struggle with losing weight.

I added a new sculpture by Ivan Eyre and a magnificent new painting by Andrew Valko. Also a fabulous new piece ny Lisa King depictions a ref Ferrari exploding out of a coloured cloud.

My attempt to include more Reflections over the period continued to founder. I may try to do better, although my writing efforts can be enjoyably absorbed for hours at a time by my songwriting.
